I first learned about AquaAya around the time it was announced that a certain social game I was playing at the time was going to be shutting down.
I remember being excited when I found out that Sanejima, who was also involved in that game, was in charge of the scenario, thinking, "I'll be bathed in Sanejima's scenario again!"
When the release event was held afterwards, I happened to be nearby for another reason, so I dropped in on the event as well.
I was given a tin badge and balloons at the lavishly decorated venue, and when I saw that it was also on display at the nearby Animate, I thought, "Something really amazing is about to begin... I wonder what kind of scenario will come out of this?"
